Some companies are sent a link to a sample website. The link ends in freshlook.uk. This page says what the address is, and how to check a message like that.

What this address holds

The freshlook.uk address holds sample websites. Webdesign.uk makes them.

Checking a message is genuine

Anyone can look up a UK company on the Companies House register. Search for the name of the firm that wrote to you.

If an email still feels wrong, the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) asks you to forward it to its reporting service. The NCSC also says not to click on any links in a suspicious email.

The Information Commission (which took over from the ICO on 30 September 2026) takes reports about unwanted marketing email on its spam email page.
